Cricklade is twinned with Sucé-sur-Erdre in France, which is just a few miles north of Nantes.

If you were wondering about the flowers, they are Snakeshead Fritillaries (Fritillaria meleagris),
that grow wild in Cricklade's North Meadow. Interestingly they are also found near Sucé on the flood
plains of the Loire.
An endangered species in the UK, it is also known as Snakes's head (the original English name), Leper Lily, and Guinea-hen Flower.
