Welcome to the Cricklade & District Twinning Association website.

Cricklade Welcomes SucÚ-sur-Erdre

Our Friends from SucÚ will be joining us for the weekend of 27th - 29th June

Cricklade is twinned with SucÚ-sur-Erdre in France, which is just a few miles north of Nantes.

The aim of the site is to tell you more about what we do, but also to keep you up to date with

  • Events
  • Committee meetings
  • Latest newsletters

The site also

  • shows some of the things we have done in the past
  • provides links to other attractions associated with Cricklade
  • provides links to other attractions in the region

If you were wondering about the flowers, they are Snakeshead Fritillaries (Fritillaria meleagris), that grow wild in Cricklade's North Meadow. Interestingly they are also found near SucÚ on the flood plains of the Loire.
An endangered species in the UK, it is also known as Snakes's head (the original English name), Leper Lily, and Guinea-hen Flower.

Take a tour and even sign up as a member or for future events
